Unicef walk in Mutalan koulu, Finland

Hello! Five times we have walked so called Unicef walk in autumn at Mutalan koulu. This year also. Everything goes like this: First every pupils have got a letter to home, where is told that we collect money to Unicef, so that families can be sponsors (mother, dad or grandparents....). From every kilometer children collect stickers. More stickers children walk more the sponsors have to pay. Quit usual cost of every sticker is 0,50€ to 1€.

Last year 2007 we collected about 1500 e to Unicef. This year we hope, that we shall have about the same amount of money. This year money goes to Africa(Tansania).

Girls are ready to start, while they have the Unicef walk pass in their hands.

All the pupils and teachers are ready to go...

We walked first 4 kolometers from our school to Peltomäki.

While we were walking, we could notice that the nature is prepairing to the coming winter.

At last after a long walk we were in Peltomäki.

Peltomäki is a very beautifull place. There is a little lake where some of our pupils like to swim in the summer time.

Then after a little rest we continue to walk. Everyone who was not too tired could walk around the lake and could collect more stickers.

And some of us wanted to play in the playground.

But some of us, like 1st grade student Aleksi continue to walk...

We have also possibility to eat soup.

It was a nice day. We didt´n need to be at our school as always. And we could do something good to those, who need our help.
