OUR BIRTHDAY FESTIVAL, SPAIN

Today we had our big festival to celebrate with pupils, teachers, parents and grandparents our 50 aniversary.

Firstly we have a parade, all the pupils from 3 to 12 year old (more than 800) have paraded in front of our parents , teachers and families.

Then We (one pupil from each class) have built a big puzzle of our school in the middle of the court.

After that, children of 1st and 2nd level danced, and children of 3rd level showed us different Spanish traditional old games

Later pupils of 5th level showed the different sports our school is participating.

But one of the most important part was when children of 6th level presented us the projects we are participating and Comenius of course.

They were dressed up with tradicional costumes from Finland, UK and Portugal (sorry we only have three classes) and they danced traditional dances from each place.

Finally the pre-school children and everybody sang Happy Birthday song with a huge cake in the middle.

It is a great date for us !!!

We enjoyed watching your dance from the UK. It looks like some of the country dances we have done - What is the name of the dance?
