Mathematical Olympiads, SPAIN




A total of 78 students from 5th and 6th grades of primary education were cited yesterday in the first edition of the Mathematical Olympiads "Alevín" held at the premises of the College 'Pintor Eduardo Morillas.

The activities were divided into two phases. The first several years of ingenuity that had to be resolved by the school up to an hour and a quarter. Later, after a break, the students, this time organized into groups, had to overcome four tests.

After completing the tests pupils are provided with diplomas and other gifts such as a shirt of the event, which will climax the event to be held on May 8 at the Faculty of Education and Humanities of the local campus University of Granada.

This event will be prizes for the winners of both the first edition of the Mathematical Olympiad "Alevín" classified as the best in the tests performed by the students of Secondary Education, held since last weekend.

One Pupil of 6th C won the prize. He was the best of Primary Schools in Melilla. His name is Carlos.
