THE DUCKS AND THE HUNTERS (ROMANIA)

This is a game that is played by all the children on the streets, in the schoolyard, everywhere.
What you need: - a playground or a gym - unlimited number of players - a ball You mark on the ground 2 concentric circles, one with the diameter of 3-4 m, the other one 6-7 m.
Split the players in 2 equal teams: a team stays inside the little circle: they are „the ducks”, and the other team stays around the big circle: they are „the hunters”.
„The hunters” team has the ball and they throw it to each other. After 3 or 4 passes they start throwing the ball at the ducks, trying to hit them. They may move around the big circle, but must not step inside it.
„The ducks” have to move quickly inside their circle and try not to be hit. A hit duck is considered a point for „the hunters”.
After a few minutes the teams can change: „the ducks” become „the hunters”. The points are counted and the game continues.
The winning team is the one with the biggest number of points.

Class DM played your game during our international week. Our throwing and catching might need a little practise, but we really enjoyed the game. We want to play it again!
