News from Class I C - ROMANIA

On the 6th of December we celebrated Saint Nicholas Day. He is the patron saint of sailors, merchants, children and students. That is why this day is very special for us, children. We decorated our classroom, we cleaned our boots and then we waited for Saint Nicholas to come and fill them with sweets and presents. Do you like our classroom?

We also had a very nice activity in honour of Saint Varvara, who was punished and killed because of her determination not to reject her Christian faith. For this holy day small loaves of bread spread with honey are handed out to children and neighbours. We decorated our loaves with honey, nutella, chocolate candies, fruit and cream.

What do you think?

2. We would like to eat them:-))))all. Yummy. Yummy.....
3. Have you made the Christmas stockings yourself?

Hi, Finland
The rolls of bread are bought from the bakers, they are normal rolls, and then decorated by our children.
The stockings were bought, too, by their teacher.
