UK - Making and exchanging cultural bags

Year 2 children in class DM and class RA enjoyed deciding what should be put in our UK cultural bags that we were going to give to Spain and Turkey at the project meeting in Istanbul.

Children in Foundation stage in class DS and class AB also helped out by making London buses.

Here we are making things to put in it and then putting them in the bags we made.

Mrs. Manning, Mrs. Tyler and Mrs. Saward took the bags to Turkey and gave them to two of our project partners.

We looked at a map to see where our bags had gone so far.

So far we have bags from Finland, Romania and France. Next week we are using the things inside these bags to learn more about those countries for our international week. We are really looking forward to doing all kinds of activities to learn about Portugal, Spain, France, Finland, Turkey and Romania.
